 |
| What is your application process? |
|
All dogs go through an interview
process which is a free day of daycare. |
 |
| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
Campers must be current on Rabies, Distemper
and Bordetella vaccinations. All dogs must be spayed/neutered
after 6 months of age. |
 |
| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |
|
Yes, for aggression or concern over behavior
demonstrated in our open play areas. Behavior that can put
the staff, the individual dog, or other dogs at risk are
reasons for dismissal. |
 |
| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |
|
Yes, we have 5 large indoor and outdoor areas
which allow us to separate dogs by size, temperament and
activity level. |
 |
| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
Your dog will be housed inside in a climate
controlled cabin but they can go inside and outside while
they are in the play areas for the majority of the day. |
 |
| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |
|
Our dogs play all day. This is included in
our overnight pricing. |
 |
| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
All of our Campers are provided with a Camp
Fire Treat before bed. This is a Kong stuffed with treats
and covered with frozen peanut butter. We normally feed
three times per day, but we are happy to accommodate special
requests at no additional charge. |
 |
| How often do you provide water? |
|
Campers have water at all times, whether
they are in the play area or in their cabin. |
 |
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
|
We have play equipment that is designed for
dogs in the play areas and utilize pup pools for swimming
when weather permits. Campers are permitted to bring toys,
beds, blankets or anything they would like for their cabin. |
 |
| Do you require a nap time for the dogs? |
|
No. |
 |
| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
We presently have a cancellation policy
during the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Holidays.
A full refund is given up to two weeks prior to the holiday
and if closer a full refund is given if we can fill their
slot. We normally have a waiting list. |
 |
| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
We have arrangements with the Local Animal
Emergency Clinic and a Local Vet. These two combined provide
24 hour on call vet services and both are within 5 minutes
of our facility. |
 |
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
If we think a Camper is at risk we transport
the dog immediately to the vet for care. After we are sure
the pet is receiving care, we contact the owner as soon
as possible. The safety of our Campers is always our top
priority. |
