| What is your application process? |
All dogs must complete a full
behavior evaluation and trial day prior to being accepted
into our program. Additionally, they must be a minimum of
6 months of age and have proof of spay/neuter. |
| What are your vaccination requirements? |
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. |
| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |
Yes. We turn away approximately 50% of dogs
that apply due to inappropriate play styles, poor body language
skills, aggressive, or reactive behavior. The safety and
happiness of our staff and canine clients is our top priority. |
| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |
Yes. We have a 10,000 square foot indoor
facility with seperate play rooms and an attached 3,500
square foot fenced yard outside. Our play groups are seperated
based on play style, size, and temperament. |
| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
Both. We spend the most time outside when
the weather is pleasant; during inclimate weather, we rotate
outside for bathroom breaks. |
| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |
Although we do not walk our dogs, they are
off leash in large play areas during the day! We have no
mandatory nap time, so they will be sure to get plenty of
exercise during their stay! |
| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
Our boarding dogs receive breakfast and dinner
before and after daycare (6 am and 7 pm) and a bedtime snack.
Our daycare dogs have treats on occasion that consist of
the all-natural, holistic, and organic treats we carry in
our retail section. |
| How often do you provide water? |
Our dogs have unlimited access to water at
all times. |
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
We provide many different toys from Kongs
to rubber balls, tennis balls, pools, clubhouses and Jolly
Balls. You may bring something special in if you are planning
to stay the night. |
| Do you have a nap time for the dogs? |
No. |
| What is your cancellation policy? |
We ask for a 12-hour cancellation policy.
We would like to know the night before. |
| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
Our attending vet is just over one mile away
and we are eight miles from a 24-hour veterinary facility. |
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
We contact the parents first. Then we transport
to our attending vet or emergency clinic, if necessary. |
