Overview |
| Soft Paws Pet Sitting Service® has
been serving Staten Island, since 1994. We are Staten Island's
most trusted pet sitting service. We offer personalized at-home
pet care for your beloved companion in the comfort of their
own home. We have several services to offer including Mid-Day
dog walks, Yard Clean-Up, Vacation Care, Transportation to vet
and groomer or any destination of your choice. We are bonded
and insured and provide lots of TLC.

| What is your application process? |
|
We need at least a weeks notice
to set up any type of service. During the holidays, two
weeks notice should be sufficient. We will set up an initial
meeting with you to discuss your pet's needs and to get
acquainted with your best friend. At that time, we pick
up a key to your home/apartment. We also have you fill out
a contract, which includes important information to help
us care for your pet(s). Such as vet info, any fears or
phobias that your pet might have. Emergency contact info.
Care and feeding instructions, plus any other information
that might help us care for you pet to best of our ability.
You decide how many visits per day your pet might need.
And have a written schedule for the sitter. |

| Will I meet the sitter/walker? |
|
Yes! We are a family owned and operated business.
Any sitter assigned to the pet sitting/dog walking assignment
will come to initial interview. |

| How many dogs do you sit/walk per session? |
|
We only offer dog walking on a one to one
basis. We will walk up to two dogs at a time from the same
household. Additional dogs wil be taken out separately.

| How long will you sit/walk my dog? |
|
For Vacation care, our services are for a
half hour stay. Mid-Day dog walks are 20 minutes in length. |

| Do you offer upgrade options to extend the
walk/sit time? |
|
Yes. Additional blocks of time @ $5.00 for
10 minutes. A maximum time of 40 minutes. |
|
| Can I request off-hours sitting/walking session?
Is there an additional fee for this? |
|
Yes. An additional fee is determined upon
request. |
|
| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
24 hour notice for all dogs walks. 24 hour
notice is also due for last minute walks. An additional
fee of $5.00 will be added to sitting service if this is
not received 24 hours prior. Vacation clients are required
to call one week before to cancel. A $25.00 fee will be
charged. |

| What do you do when my sitter/walker is not
available to walk my dog? |
|
We are a family owned an operated business,
we know all the pets under our care. Someone is always available.
Except when vacation time is due for the sitters. |

| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
We have a contract with emergeny telephone
numbers and contacts to call. |
|
| Do you have a vet on call? |
|
We use client's vet. Or in the event vet
is unavailable, we have an emergency 24 hour vet available. |
|
| Have you ever had any incidents with your
clients, such as property damage? |
|
No. |

| Do you provide other services, such as watering
plants and bringing in mail? |
