| What is your application process? |
|
Phone Consultation - When
you call to set up your introductory session we will discuss
with you our daycare requirements and will ask you some
questions regarding you pets behavior and temperament.
This will be a chance to discuss some basic questions
regarding you pet. At this time, we will see if its best
to go with our facility or if it would be better to consider
in-home daycare.
Introductory Session - This is a private consultation
with you and your dog. We will have you fill out an application
form that discusses your dogs behavior, favorites and
past history. We will introduce your dog to a few of our
current daycare dogs and then discuss what we see regarding
his play styles and determine at that time if we will
continue onto a trial day. Allow 30-45 minutes for this
consult. We can also do this consult in your home, but
please be prepared to have one of our employees bring
a dog into your home to observe behavior. This session
usually lasts 30-45 minutes.
Trial Day - All of the daycare dogs must begin with a
trial day. This will be a full day of daycare and we will
ask that you drop your dog off first thing in the morning.
We will slowly introduce him into our group of dogs and
allow him to play for the day. Once this trial day is
completed, we will give the go ahead to begin daycare
on a regular basis. If you choose to go with the in-home
daycare we still need to do a trial day, we will arrive
at your home and pick up your dog for a 2 hour trial.
If no problems arise, you will be given the go ahead.
