Overview |
Our goal is to create a fun, friendly,
safe environment where dogs can socialize and get exercise.
We want Monster Mutt Doggie Daycare to be a place where we are
happy to bring our own dogs. Your pup will wile away the day
playing with all of his doggie friends, supervised by a highly
trained, professional, dog loving staff, in our cage-free, safe
& sanitary indoor doggie playground. |

| What are your hours? |

Monday - Friday: 8 am - 8 pm
Weekends and holidays: 10 am - 6 pm |

Dog Daycare/Boarding Information |

| What is your application process? |
|
Dogs (with the help of their
humans) must complete an application and come in for a pre-scheduled
interview. At the interview, they will also be required
to provide proof of vaccinations. |
|
| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
All dogs must be vaccinated against distemper-parvo,
rabies and bordetella; puppies under 6 months do not need
to have rabies; puppies under 4 months may have only 2 sets
of puppy shots and permission from their vets. |
|
| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |
|
We provide a safe, happy, cage free environment
so we strive to make sure that all the dogs are happy and
comfortable. We turn away any dog with aggressive tenancies.
We also have turned away dogs with signs of extreme anxiety.
We really want all the dogs to have a good time. |

| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |
|
All dogs are pre-screened and carefully evaluated,
then they are separted by size as well as temperament. |
|
| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
All dogs are kept indoors. |
|
| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |
|
We do not walk the dogs but they get plenty
of potty breaks. If you do want your dogged walked outside
of the facility we can sub-contract a dogwalking service
on your behalf to walk the dogs. Since we are a cage-free
facility all the dogs get upto 10 - 12 hours of playtime
everyday therefore there is no need to "purchase"
additional playtime. |

| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
We provide treats and they get many treats
throughout the day as well as extra cookies at bedtime.
Of course, if you ask us to limit your pets treats, or if
your pets have special dietary restrictions, we are happy
to accommodate those any special requests. |

| How often do you provide water? |
|
Water is available to the dogs at all times
throughout the day. For dogs who are not comfortable drinking
from a "communal bowl" we can give individual
water breaks at pre-determined intervals. |
|
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
|
We have lots of slides and big toys for the
dog to climb on and run around in the play areas. We do
not have small toys in the play areas because some dogs
will fight over them. You are welcome to bring toys, bones,
personal items or special treats for your dog to enjoy in
the privacy of his or her crate at nite. |

| Do you have a nap time for the dogs? |
|
We do not require a nap time. We strongly
recommend naps for dogs who are under 6 months or for dogs
who are boarding for several days. Of course, if the owner
does not want that, we will not do it. The only time we
require a nap for a dog is if we notice that the dog is
getting over-tired and cranky and needs a break from the
other dogs. |

| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
We are very flexible with cancellations and
most of the year we only require a phone call if your plans
change. For major holiday periods we do take a $100 deposit
at the time of the reservation and those deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. |

| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
We have a 24 veterinary emergency hospital
right across the street from us and we have a very close
working relationship with them. We also have a vet on call
to us as well as very close relationships with all the vets
in our area. |
|
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
Depending on the nature of the emergency,
we either provide immediate medical attention for the dog
and then contact the owner, or we call the owner and ask
for instructions if there is time. Whenever possible we
try to take the dog to its regular vet. We also always have
info on who to contact if we cannot reach the owner, so
if the owner is not available we would call the emergency
contact. |
