Overview
Ruff House Dog Daycare and Boarding has been working with dogs for over 7 years including, training, socialization, dog behavior, adoptions, fostering and pet sitting. Our facility is located on 7 acres of land. The owners live on the property so your pet is never left alone on his overnight stays. We believe that each pet not only needs a safe, comfortable, clean environment but also plenty of human interaction and exercise. We realize that when a dog first comes to our facility they are scared and miss thier owner. That is why we extend extra attention to help your dog adjust as quickly as possible. Once they get to know us and the new environment a bond is formed for both us and your pet and they become excited to return as we are excited for their return visit.

What are your hours?   Monday - Friday: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Saturday: By appointment only
Sunday: Closed
Do you provide pick up and drop off service?   Yes.
     

Dog Daycare/Boarding Information
What is your application process?   Online or in person.
What are your vaccination requirements?   Distemper, Bordetella and Rabies.
Have you ever turned down any dogs before? If so, for what reasons?   We have turned dogs down for daycare because they have shown aggression. We have turned dogs down for boarding because they did not have up to date shots.
Do you have separate areas for large dogs and small dogs?   Yes.
Is your facility indoor or outdoor?   Dogs have access to both indoors and outdoors.
How many times per day do you walk the dogs? Can we purchase additional walks or play time?   Boarded dogs are walked 4 times per day. daycare dogs play off leash in an indoor/outdoor, open spaced facility.
Do you provide dog treats?  How many times do you feed the dogs?   We feed the dogs according to the owners request.
How often do you provide water?   Fresh water is provided all day and night.
Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our own toys and other personal belonging?   We have plenty of toys, balls, frisbees and stuffed animals or owners are welcome to bring their own toys.
Do you have a nap time for the dogs? No. We monitor the dogs - if any in particular looks like they need a nap, we separate them for a rest period until they are ready to play again.
What is your cancellation policy?   We require 24 hour notice of cancellation.
Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet on call? We have a vet on call 24 hours/day.
What do you do in case of emergency?   In an emergency we will notify the owner or the owner's emergency contact that is on file. If we cannot reach either one, we will take the dog to the vet immediately.

Do you provide grooming service?

We provide baths, nail trim, ear cleaning and hair trimming.
Do you provide obedience training?   We provide puppy, basic obedience, private training and in-home training along with consulting.
     

Dog Daycare & Dog Boarding Fees
Daycare: $25/day

Boarding: $25/night
Daycare and boarding combined: $45/day and night, $40/day and night if the dog is staying more than 5 nights
