Overview |
| Camp Bow Wow was successfully developed
to provide a fun, safe and upscale environment for dogs to play,
romp and receive lots of love and attention! We provide doggy
day camp for clients wishing to drop their dogs off in the morning
and pick them up in the evening, as well as overnight boarding
for travelers. Overnight boarders play in the day camp program

Dog Daycare/Boarding Information |
 |
| What is your application process? |
|
Each dog must socialize well
with other dogs and be in overall good health. A pre-stay
application and interview must be completed and copies of
vaccination records supplied. |
 |
| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper
and Bordetella. |
 |
| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |
|
We're sorry, but we cannot accept dogs that
are not spayed or neutered. |
 |
| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |
|
Yes, there are four indoor/outdoor play areas
so that the dogs can be grouped according to age, size and
temperament. |
 |
| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
From the play areas, the dogs are free to
play inside or outside. All kennels are indoors in a 6000
square foot, climate controlled facility. |
 |
| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |
|
Camp Bow Wow is a "free play" environment
so the dogs play with their human and canine friends all
day. Therefore, no additional charges apply. |
 |
| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
Yes, treats and food are provided. If a dog
is on a special diet, their owners are welcome to bring
their own food for consistency. |
 |
| How often do you provide water? |
|
Water is always available in the play areas
and kennels. |
 |
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
|
Yes, we provide toys for our guests while
in their kennels and the play area's contain toys conductive
to group play. We also encourage our guests to bring any
toys and personal belongings from home which will make your
dog's stay more comfortable. |
 |
| Do you have a nap time for the dogs? |
|
Yes. Immediately following lunch, the dogs
remain in their kennel for 1 hour for a nap or just to rest.
This also reduces the possibility of bloat and gives the
dog a much needed break after an active morning of socializing
with friends. |
 |
| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
For boarding, the policy is that 48 hours
notice prior to the reservation is required. If not, the
reservation deposit will be retained but applied to the
next visit. No day care policy. |
 |
| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
Yes, we have an Advisory Vet whose office
is located approximately a mile from the facility as well
as an Emergency Clinic less than 5 miles away. |
 |
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
If a customer has a Veterinarian, we try
to contact their office should an emergency arise. If no
preference is provided by a customer, we would use our Advisory
Vet during normal business hours or the 24 hour Emergency
Clinic. The client would also be contacted to advice of
the situation. |
