Overview |
Summit Pet Sitting, Inc. takes the bite out of your pet sitting
needs. We are bonded and fully insured. We have only have full
time professional pet sitters. The staff are members of PSI and
NAPPS both professional pet sitting organizations. We accept cash,
checks, Visa, Discover, American Express and Discover. We offer
a wide variety of professional pet sitting services that can be
tailored to your needs. One of the pet sitting services we offer
is a wireless video camera so you can watch your home and pet(s)
24 hours a day 7 days a week. Most importantly, we provide outstanding
care for your pet(s) when you are away. Our motto is "Anything
less than outstanding is unacceptable."
I have earned a NAPPS certification in pet sitting by successfully
completing a course of study and passing an exam on business management,
animal care and health issues. |

| What is your application process? |
|
There are several forms that
need to be filled out and reviewed at the free initial
consultation. This also gives us a chance to meet you
and your pet(s). |

| Will I meet the sitter/walker? |
|
Yes. The sitter/walker will be at the initial
consultation in your home. |
 |
| How many dogs do you sit/walk per session? |
|
Currently we will only sit/walk dogs from
one family per session, unless all the dogs are signed up
for the group dog exercise sitting service. |

| How long will you sit/walk my dog? |
|
We will sit/walk you dog for the agreed amount
of time. Sometimes longer if your plans change or you are
delayed in returning home. |

| Do you offer upgrade options to extend the
walk/sit time? |

Summit Pet Sitting, Inc. offers a wide variety
of pet sitting services that can be tailored to fit your
specific requests. |

| Can I request off-hours sitting/walking session?
Is there an additional fee for this? |

Yes, we offer off-hours sitting/walking sessions.
There is an additional charge if the pet sitting service
is scheduled before 7 am or after 9 pm. |

| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
We kindly ask that we are notified as soon
as possible so that we can provide our kind, loving care
to another pet(s). |

| What do you do when my sitter/walker is not
available to walk my dog? |
|
We have experienced full time professional
backup pet sitters to fill in. |

| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
We will make every attempt to bring your
pet(s) to your own veterinarian during normal business hours.
In the case of an after hours emergency your pet(s) will
be brought to Ocean State Veterinarian Specialists or Tufts
both open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. |

Yes, we provide additional services such
as watering the plants, bringing in the newspaper and mail,
light rotation, opening/closing blinds or curtains, we ensure
all windows and doors are closed and locked before leaving
the residence. |

Group dog exercise (1 hour off leash social hike and park runs):
$20 per hour |
Private dog walk (30 minutes on leash in pets neighborhood): $20
per 30 minutes |
In-home pet visit (30 minutes includes play, feeding, medication
administration, litter/cage cleaning, yard waste cleannup): $20
per 30 minutes |
Quick check (Abbreviated version of the regular visits, lasting
approximately 10 - 15 minutes. A charge of $10.00 ia assessed
for this extra (3rd) visit.): $10 per visit |
In-home overnight pet sitting (At client's home 6 pm - 9 pm. Includes
evening and morning walks, feeding, litter/cage cleaning, mail
& newspaper retrieval, plant retrieval, plant watering and
lith rotation, open/closing blinds and home security checks):
$60 per night |
Daycare - in sitter's home, 9 am to 6 pm: $5 per hour |
Daycare - in client's home 9 am to 6 pm: $6 per hour |
Evening care (In client's or sitter's home. 6 pm to 9 pm): $10
per hour |
Private boarding (In sitter's home, clients to drop off and pick
up also to provide food, treats and bedding): $50 per full day |
