Owners must fill out an application,
medical forms and provide proof of current vaccinations.
An evaluation will also be given to evaluate temperament
and disposition. |

| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Distemper,
Parvo. |

| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |
|
We will not accept INTACT dogs above 6 months
old and dogs that are prone to aggression. Some behaviorial
problems such as urinating inside or marking, excessive
howling and/or prolonged barking or destructive habits will
not be tolerated. In a daycare environment, these types
of habits are picked up easily by the other dogs and the
atmosphere soon becomes unmanageable. |

| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |
|
Yes. There are separate sections for small,
old or young dogs. We determine which play group your dog
is best suited for during our evaluation process which is
free of charge for one day. Some play groups are determined
by size, but we not only seperate by size but also by disposition.
Some small dogs play very rough and some large dogs play
very gently! |

| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
Both. Kanine Kinder is homebased with over
1,200 indoor square feet of space and approximately 4,000
square feet of outdoor space for play areas. The outdoor
area is double-fenced for security and safety for the dogs.
We always want a playful, happy environment for all dogs,
therefore your dog is monitored and supervised everyday
he or she comes to daycare. |

| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |
|
Not applicable since we're a cage-free facility. |
|
| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
This is determined by the owner and the dog's
diet. If your dog needs to be fed while attending daycare,
we will provide such services. |

| How often do you provide water? |
|
Water is provided at all times. |
|
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
|
Yes. We also provide each dog a personalized
Cubby Hole so that they may bring and store their own toys
and/or belongings from home. |
|
| Do you require a nap time for the dogs? |
|
Tentatively scheduled from 12 pm - 2 pm.
This time will be perfect during the winter months when
we can all gather around the cozy fireplace and listen to
classical music! |

| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
We do not charge any fees, however we would
at least prefer a 24 hours notice of cancellation. |
|
| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
Within 2 miles of the daycare facility. |
|
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
Our number one priority is the safety, health
and well-being of all dogs under our care. If for some reason
a critical emergency occurs, we will bring the dog to the
vet and contact the owner immediately. Our staff is also
trained and certified in CPR. |
