Dog Daycare/Boarding Information

What is your application process?   Dogs must first be evaluated before they can attend daycare or board. The owner will set up an appointment for the evaluation, which is when we check to see how the dog interacts with other dogs and make sure he/she is comfortable in the daycare environment. At the time of the evaluation the owner will also fill out some forms and bring in the dogs up to date vaccination records.
What are your vaccination requirements?   All dogs must be up to date on Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella. They also must be spayed or neutered after 7 months of age.
Have you ever turned down any dogs before? If so, for what reasons?   Since the dogs will be in one of our four playgroups playing with many other dogs all day they need to play well with others. The daycare environment is not for every dog and that is why we first evaluate all of the dogs before they can come and play. Typically by the end of the evaluation we know if they will do well or not.
Do you have separate areas for large dogs and small dogs?   We do have four different playgroups for the dogs. We have a Romper Room for the small dogs, a Toy Box for toy dogs and puppies, a Lounge which is for the medium sized gentle players or older dogs and the Gym is for the energetic big dogs who love to spend the day wrestling & playing chase. We have found that the dogs do much better when surrounded by other dogs with a similar play style. During the evaluation we decide where the dog would be most comfortable. When starting out even some of the rowdiest pups often take a couple of days in the Lounge to get comfortable with the daycare environment.
Is your facility indoor or outdoor?   Most of the time the dogs are kept indoors. We do have two outdoor areas, one for the big dogs and one for the small dogs, which allows for frequent outdoor breaks. Depending on the weather the time spent outside varies. Typically a dog boarding with us would go outside anywhere from 6-8 times a day.
How many times per day do you walk the dogs? Can we purchase additional walks or play time?   We do not walk the dogs outside we let them play freely in our outdoor area with the other dogs several times a day to do “their business” & enjoy some fresh air. Since the dogs get so much exercise in daycare they typically don’t require more exercise in the form of walks. All day is playtime for them with the exception of a naptime from 12 pm - 2 pm.
Do you provide dog treats?  How many times do you feed the dogs?   We do provide Old Mother Hubbard biscuits to all of the dogs during naptime, and they are available for purchase in our boutique. We are able to feed dogs up to three times a day.
How often do you provide water?   The dogs always have unlimited water in each of the playrooms and while outside.
Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our own toys and other personal belonging?   We provide Kong toys in all of the playrooms. We do not allow other toys in the playrooms as the average toy would be destroyed very quickly. We allow dogs to bring in their own toys & bedding which they can have in their crates with them at night.
Do you require a nap time for the dogs? We have a naptime from 12 pm – 2 pm each day.
What is your cancellation policy?   We do not charge a cancellation fee. We just ask that you give us as much notice as possible.
Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet on call? We have a vet within a 1-minute drive of our location. We also have relationships with several vets in the area that are always willing to see a dog if needed.
What do you do in case of emergency?   We would contact the owner and if needed take the dog to the vet immediately.

Other Dog Care Services

Do you provide grooming service?

We do offer grooming services. Your dog is given a bath using professional shampoo and conditioners in a hydrosurge massaging tub. The relaxing bath will be followed by a full dry and brush out, ears will be cleaned, nails are clipped, and pads will be trimmed or a breed standard clip can be done. We also offer a day spa package with a half-day of daycare, and a spa treatment in the afternoon! They will spend the morning in daycare, and at naptime he or she is taken to the Salon. You will pick-up a well-exercised and beautiful dog!

Do you provide obedience training?   C&C Pals holds their training classes in our location. They have an array of classes to match your dogs training needs.
