Overview |
| At Greenbelt Kennels, your dog will enjoy
supervised play with other dogs. We have a fenced outdoor play
yard and spacious climate-controlled indoor playrooms to keep
your dog comfortable in all weather. When you are gone for the
night or for an extended trip, we have the perfect hotel for
your four-legged (and two-legged) companions. All breeds and
ages are welcome! |

they let the dogs play at Greenbelt Kennels, but they also take
the dogs on “field trips” to the local dog park. In
addition, my dog Gerti has a tremendous love for playing in mud,
and enjoys the opportunity to roll around in it any chance she
can get. Jean and the Greenbelt Kennels staff have tirelessly
washed my dog several times after a mud romp. It is obvious they
enjoy what they do and have a tremendous love for these four-legged
creatures. They are very personable and have made it a point to
get to know my dog. Gerti thoroughly enjoys her weekly adventure
at Greenbelt Kennels and I swear she knows the mornings that she
gets to go. She’ll pace back and forth in front of the door
and whine at me like she’s saying, 'Come on already…let’s

Reservations may be made by phone

Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Hepatitis, Corona,
Bordatella, and Rabies. |

If so, for what reasons? |

We have never turned a boarding dog away.
One dog in eight years was removed from the day care program
for temperament issues that could not be resolved. |

| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |

Yes. |

| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
All day care and boarding areas are indoor/outdoor
combination areas. |

| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |

Because of the indoor/outdoor facility we
do not walk dogs. Walks can be purchased, however, if the
customer wants to pay the additional fee. Play time may
also be added to the boarding stay for an additional fee. |

| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
Yes, treats are provided on a continual basis
- usually in conjunction with positive reinforcement. Our
dogs are fed once daily, in the morning, OR according to
the client's directions. |

| How often do you provide water? |
|
Water containers are continually checked
and filled from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. |
|
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |

We provide dog toys, however most of our
clients prefer to bring their own. |

| Do you require a nap time for the dogs? |
|
No. |

| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
Currently, we have no cancellation policy
in place. |

| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
Two blocks from the kennel. We do have several
on-call vets. Our policy, however, is to contact the customer's
vet if at all possible. |
|
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
In an emergency, we stabilize the pet, call
the pet's veterinarian, and if that vet is not available,
take them to one of our on-call vets. |
