Overview |
Barkalounge Doggy Daycare offers high quality, affordably priced
day care for dogs by people who love and understand dogs and know
the world is a better place because of them.
It is our goal to be known for the confidence and trust we gain
through our clients. We provide a safe, fun, and entertaining
environment for your dog. All of our employees are carefully screened
and required to have previous experience with animal care. Each
employee is required to be certified by the American Red Cross
in Canine CPR and First Aid. On top of all that we just plain
LOVE dogs! |

| What is your application process? |
|
1. Completion of forms:client
waiver, completed dog profile, owner information, verification
of pet health/vaccinations
2. Entry evaluation and behavior profile prior to approval |

| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
Rabies, DHLPP (distemper and parvo), Bordetella
(required every 6 months), protected from fleas/ticks/heartworm,
spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age. |

| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |

Yes -- aggression and severe anti-social
(fear-biting) behaviors and adult dogs who were unspayed
or unneutered. |

| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |

4 distinct areas: large dog/higher energy
room, medium dogs, small dogs and older/less active dogs. |

Toys are provided, owners are welcome to
bring toys but must understand other dogs may also play
with them. |

Yes, we want dogs to come home tired but
not exhausted! |

| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
No cancellation required unless high traffic
demands a reservation. |

| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
Yes, we have a veterinarian on call. Vet
office is under 1 mile from the daycare. |

| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
All staff are certified in Canine CPR and
First Aid from the American Red Cross. If situation demands,
the animal is immediately transported to the emergency veterinarian
clinic (less than 1 mile from daycare). |

in the cost of overnight stays) |
