Overview |
Camp Bow Wow Jacksonville is a premier doggy day care and
non-traditional boarding facility designed exclusively to
provide a fun, clean and safe environment for your dogs to
romp and play. It's a place where a dog can be a dog! Our
facility is over 9,000 square feet of climate controlled space
with four spacious indoor play areas that are each connected
to an outside break area. The dogs are divided into our play
yards based on their size and temperament where they play
together all day long. Parents are welcome to watch their
camper play on our camper cams.

| What is your application process? |
|
We require that all of our campers
complete a complimentary interview day. During the interview,
we are checking that the dog is in good overall health,
flea and tick free, socializes well with other dogs and
is current on their vaccines. Dogs must be spayed or neutered
after 6 months of age. |

| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
We require all dogs be current on Rabies,
Distemper and Bordetella (for Canine Cough). |

| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?

Yes. We want to make sure Camp Bow Wow Jacksonville
is the right fit for each and every camper. If we do not
think a dog will do well in our open-play environment, then
we are not able to accept him at our facility and will recommend
another facility. |

| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |

Yes. |

| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
During the day, the dogs play in our indoor/outdoor
play yards and are free to go outside or inside anytime.
At night, our boarding dogs are indoors in their private
cabins. |

| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?

All dogs play all day which is included in
our pricing. |

| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
Yes. We provide campfire treats at night
for our overnight campers. We feed the dogs twice a day,
but will provide extra feedings at no extra charge. You
are also welcome to use our food or bring your own food
at no extra charge. |

| How often do you provide water? |
|
Available at all times. |

| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
|
Parents are welcome to bring in toys for
their dog to enjoy in their private cabin, but due to safety
issues such as toy possession, we do not allow personal
items in the play yards. We have play equipment in our play
yards for the dogs to enjoy. |

| Do you require a nap time for the dogs? |
|
No, but naps are available upon request. |
|
| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
We require a 24 hour cancellation notice. |
|
| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
The nearest vet is about 2 miles from our
camp. We have accounts set up at a local vet as well as
the 24 hour emergency vet clinic. |
|
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
Our camp counselors are certified in Pet
First Aid and CPR. If we think a camper is seriously injured
or sick, we will transport the dog immediately to the vet
for care. We will contact the parents as soon as possible
in any situation. |
