 |
| What is your application process? |
|
All of our new campers are required
to complete our application, be current on vaccinations
and in general good health. Each new camper must also and
pass our socialization interview to make sure we are right
for the dog and to make sure the dog will interact well
with our other campers. |
 |
| What are your vaccination requirements? |
|
Campers must be current on Rabies, Distemper
and Bordetella (for Canine Cough). We require the Bordetella
vaccination be administered every 6 months to be considered
current. |
 |
| Have you ever turned down any dogs before?
If so, for what reasons? |
|
Yes. We interview every single new camper
to make sure they will do well in our environment. Safety
is our number one concern. If a dog demonstrates aggressive
behavior, then unfortunately, we are probably not the right
fit for the dog. |
 |
| Do you have separate areas for large dogs
and small dogs? |
|
Yes. We have three separate indoor/outdoor
play yards. |
 |
| Is your facility indoor or outdoor? |
|
Your dog will able to go inside and outside
at their discretion. Our indoor yards literally are always
open to the outside. For boarding dogs, during nighttime,
our cabins are indoors. |
 |
| How many times per day do you walk the dogs?
Can we purchase additional walks or play time? |
|
Because we have a social, play all day environment,
walks or purchasing extra play time is not necessary. Boarding
dogs are only in their cabin for meals and nighttime. |
 |
| Do you provide dog treats? How many
times do you feed the dogs? |
|
Yes. Boarding dogs get a nighttime treat
before going to bed. We feed breakfast and dinner and will
provide extra feedings if requested at no extra charge. |
 |
| How often do you provide water? |
|
Water is always available. |
 |
| Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our
own toys and other personal belonging? |
|
Our play yards have play equipment for the
pups to play on. Because some dogs are toy aggressive, we
do not allow the dogs to bring personal toys into our play
yards, but you are welcome to bring toys and personal belongings
for your dog to play with in their personal cabin. We encourage
you to bring something from home to help your dog feel more
at home. |
 |
| Do you require a nap time for the dogs? |
|
Naps are provided on a needed basis. Most
dogs in for a day of doggy daycare do not need a nap, but
boarding dogs or older dogs may need a nap. You may also
request naps or extra naps at no extra charge. |
 |
| What is your cancellation policy? |
|
We require a 24 hour cancellation notice. |
 |
| Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet
on call? |
|
We have two vets within a 1 mile radius of
camp. We also have an emergency vet on call. |
 |
| What do you do in case of emergency? |
|
We are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.
We will treat superficial injuries. If we feel that a dog
needs immediate medical attention, they will be taken to
the nearest Pet Emergency Hospital. |
