What Camp Ilene Customers Are Saying

"Because when I go away, the last thing I want to worry about (and the first thing I am prone to worry about) is my dog. I know I don't have to worry when he's at Camp Ilene. AND Turbo loves it there. He goes nuts when
I get off the freeway. I have a hard time catching him in the car to get him in her yard. He tries to climb over me to get to her! (and the other "campers") It helps me to know he is actually happy that I have left!"

General Information

What are your hours?   Drop off and/or pick up hours are 7 am to 7 pm, 7 days per week.
Do you provide pick up and drop off service?   No.

Dog Daycare/Boarding Information

What is your application process?   Phone interview process with client determining socialibility of dog, then there is an online form to fill out including a waiver and vet release form.
What are your vaccination requirements?   Rabies certificate is required, current vaccinations and bordetella are recommended.
Have you ever turned down any dogs before? If so, for what reasons?   Yes, if a dog displays any aggressive nature, the dog is turned away. There are no kennels or cages, so all dogs must be dog social.
Do you have separate areas for large dogs and small dogs?   Yes, there is a large grass yard for the small and older dogs, and another large yard for the large dogs. Plus there is a huge corral area for play time.
Is your facility indoor or outdoor?   This is my home, so dogs have access to my home as well as the play yards through a doggy door. No kennels or cages, just play and love! Please see my web site for more information.
How many times per day do you walk the dogs? Can we purchase additional walks or play time?   No need to walk the dogs as they get plenty of exercising playing with other dogs. No additional fees at all.
Do you provide dog treats?  How many times do you feed the dogs?   Yes, feeding is dependant upon the dogs regular routine, normally 2 times a day.
How often do you provide water?   Water is always available. There is an automatic watering dish that constantly provides fresh water.
Do you provide dog toys? Can we bring our own toys and other personal belonging?   There are plenty of toys, and if you wish you can bring your own toys, just know that other dogs will probably want to share.
Do you have a nap time for the dogs? No requirement for nap time, but after playing all morning, the dogs usually take a nap in the afternoon.
What is your cancellation policy?   I appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellation, no charges are required for cancellation.
Where is the nearest vet? Do you have a vet on call? Nearest vet is just around the corner, and there is a new vets office being built across the street. A vet is always available if necessary.
What do you do in case of emergency?   Take the dog to the appropriate care facility, and if necessary notify the owners.
