Nanny state's gone to the dogs, cry Kiwi MPs

New Zealand - Canine welfare proposals that include daily dog dish cleaning and draught-free kennels have got some New Zealand politicians barking mad. Sniffing a juicy election campaign bone, the opposition National Party has called the draft dog code an attempt by the Labour Government to extend its "nanny state" to the animal world...
